Make sure your car is ready

Before winter arrives, and before any long trip, give your car a thorough check-up. Ensure your fluids, wipers, and heating systems are operational.

Before you leave

Check weather conditions along your route and take printed maps. Let someone know your itinerary.

When you’re on the road

Are roads snowy or icy? Take it slow. Give yourself extra time and space. Remember that AWD does not improve braking performance on ice.
