According to a TripAdvisor survey of more than 1,000 travelers, 53% of those responding said they take their pets on vacation, and 52% stay only at places that welcome pets.

Travel Safely

• In the car: Use a carrier or confinement method. Avoid the front seat and never leave pets unattended in the vehicle.
• On the plane: Keep them in the cabin if possible; avoid connections if flying as cargo.
