Lodging options for pet owners continue to expand. Some properties charge an additional fee or have restrictions, so be sure to check all rules before booking.
Travel Safely
- In the car: Use a carrier or confinement method. Avoid the front seat and never leave pets unattended in the vehicle.
- On the plane: Keep them in the cabin if possible; avoid connections if flying as cargo.
Identification
Ensure your pet is microchipped and has a collar with your up-to-date cell phone number.
